Description

Please read all information below to ensure a full understanding of your Rental and how to Register for your Event.


RENTAL DATES and TIME - Both are shown at the top of this page.  


REGISTRATION - ALL PERSONS, including children, on the boat must complete the registration process.  ONE PERSON is REQUIRED to COMPLETE the PROCESS as the "CAPTAIN", this should be the person responsible for the vessel.  All others must complete the process as "Crew/Passenger".

    1. Click the << + sign-up >> bar at the bottom of this page
    2. Choose between "Crew/Passenger" or "Captain" 
    3. Enter your name, phone number, email address, and answer all questions 

Once the process is complete you will be taken back to this event page and your name should show at the bottom under "Crew/Passenger" or "Captain".  Please make sure all persons in your group register, including children.


WHAT TO BRING - Attire should be according to the predicted weather.  Understand that the temperature is always a little cooler on the water and it never hurts to bring rain gear, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses and a camera to help remember your trip.  Drinks and snacks, of your choice, that are appropriate for the duration of your trip are suggested.  This boat is not equipped with refrigeration, so you will need to bring a cooler in order to keep things cool. 


CAPTAIN and CREW CHECK-IN PROCEDURES -  

Confirm that you parked in the spaces directly on the side of the road or in the small parking area next to the sheds.  Wherever you park, please park close together as parking is limited.  Once payment and paperwork is confirmed with our Staff, we will get you on the boat as soon as possible.


BOAT CHECK-OUT & IN PROCEDURES  - Once you have completed the check-in process with Bow to Stern Staff, we will Check-Out the boat to you.  The boat will have been "turned" prior to your boarding which includes a thorough cleaning and disinfecting, pumping holding tanks, and filling water and fuel tanks.

BOAT CHECK-OUT -  Bow to Stern staff will explain to the "Captain" and other interested parties the safe operation of the boat.  This will include: Location of Required and Safety Equipment and an explanation essential Systems and Equipment.  They will answer any questions you may have and show you the "Vessel Manual", in which you will be able to find answers to questions you may have during your trip.  

FLOAT PLAN - Your float plan for the trip will be discussed and documented.  Bow to Stern Staff may assist in helping to determining the best plan.

VESSEL TRACKING - This vessel is equipped with a tracking device to monitor location and essential systems.  Bow to Stern Staff will use this device's communication tools to assist in the safe operation of the vessel when possible.  There is also an audible communication system between Bow to Stern and the Boat that will be explained. (Video/Cameras are not part of the system)

BOAT RETURN - Contact Bow to Stern Staff before you return under the bridge so we can assist with docking.  Once you arrive back at your slip, the Staff on duty will meet you at the boat and go through a check-in process.  For a list of check-in procedures see "Vessel Manual". 


PAYMENT POLICY - Payment is due prior to departure.


CANCELLATION POLICY - Once the vessel has been checked out to you, the only reason for cancellation is for weather (explained below).


INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY - Cancellations with a pro-rated refund or reschedulling the remainder of the rental is possible for any rental that has unsafe weather after the start of the rental.  Unsafe weather is defined as tropical storm/hurricane or unsafe sailing conditions (winds above 25kts or thuderstorms).  We do not cancel for low winds, rain, or heat.
